Di sini kita bakal ngulik lebih dalam ttg siapa-siapa saja sih personil Master of Puppets. Yang jelas mereka empat pria energetic yang tampan! :D Well, kita mulai dari sang vocalist dulu ya.. Check this out!

Yap, inilah vocalist Master of Puppets yg screamnya udah ga diragukan lagi kecadasannya! Pria yg bernama lengkap Cahyadi Putra atau yg biasa disapa "Capung" ini lahir pada tanggal 30 April 1991. Wow, masih muda banget ya, :D Ternyata dan ternyata, si Capung ini adalah seorang mahasiswa jurusan bahasa Inggris teman-teman. Selain jago nye-cream berarti jago ngerayu bule juga dong ya, :P Untuk lebih jelasnya nih info ttg si Capung:

Nah, yang di atas ini sudah pasti adalah sang gitaris dari Master of Puppets. Namanya adalah Aris Dwipermana. Walaupun dia jarang bergaya dan tampak loyo saat manggung, tapi kalo udah urusan gitar, si Aris ini ga kenal ampun!! Dia juga jago maen gitar akustik lohh.. Pokoknya kalo udah sama gitar, sehancur apapun tu gitar kalo udah dia yg maen pasti tambah ancur!!! Wkwkwkwkwkwk.. Untuk lebih lengkapnya, simak yg di bawah ini.

Nah kakak yang sangar ini adalah bassist dari Master of Puppets. Perawakannya tinggi, badannya kekar, dan tampangnya udah metal abiss!! Namanya adalah Sucipto atau sering disapa Cito. Kak Cito selain hebat main bass ternyata juga jago scream lo. Tapi sekali dia nye-cream, bisa terjadi gempa lokal!! Wkwkwkwkwk..

Yapppp, akhirnya nyampe juga di sini. Kakak, yang duduk dan ngebug drum untuk Master of Puppets ini bernama Dedy Artana. Walau perawakannya kurus, tapi kalau udah di panggung ttp gahar! :D Dia juga salah satu former member dari MOP lohh, selain Aris n Cito. Highlightnya, Dedy adalah personil yang paling tua diantara personil MOP lohh. .

First Gig of Master of Puppets

As Master of Puppets has complete members, though there's no rhythm guitarist, we begun to seek for music event in which we can perform. God answers our wish so we don't need to wait for too long. Finally there was a Band Parade held to celebrate AIDS day on December, 1st 2011. Hearing that good news, soon we registered Master of Puppets. Actually, the committees were looking for 25 bands for the parade but there were only 22 which registered to join the show and MOP got the 20th turn to perform.

We were practicing hard to make MOP's first performance really amazing. The committees only allowed each band to play two songs in ten minutes. At that time, we covered Killing Me Inside's song entitled The Tormented and Killed by Butterfly's song entitled life. But, a problem appeared since Cahyadi could not take the clean vocal, scream vocal, and growl vocal alone. To solve this problem, an additional vocalist was used and we were ready enough to rock the stage!!

The first song that we played was Killed by Butterfly - Life and it successfully got applause from the audiences though we didn't play it well. The next song was Killing Me Inside - The Tormented and there was a little accident where the stage lamps were off and the vocal microphones were also off. There were only guitar, bass, and drum played this song till end without vocal. Finally, we knew that we ran out of time where we supposed to play in 10 minutes. But it doesn't a great matter coz we got the audience applause again. And MOP's first gig can be said as successful enough. Cheers!!

History of Master of Puppets band

Master of Puppets (MOP) is a band formed by Aris as a Guitarist, Cito as a vocalist and bassist, and Dedy as a drummer with Punk as their genre. The band was formed on August 17th 2011. Formerly, the name of the band was Face2Face but it was changed since there is a band has used that name first. The name Master of Puppets was chosen because it sounds simple but unique and also meaningful. Master of Puppets is a person who tells about life by using puppets as his/her media. It is just the same with us. We tell about life but we use songs as our media.

As the time goes on, the three members of MOP feel bored playing genre Punk and they want to try something new. As a result, they try to play Post-hardcore. Yet, a problem appeared. Cito faced trouble on singing and playing bass at the same time. Moreover this genre requires screaming and growling vocal. Finally, they choose Cahyadi as their vocalist and MOP's new genre is called Progressive Screamo Hardcore. Besides, MOP also plays some other genres such as SKA, Reggae, and Acoustic. With the new name, members, and genre, MOP hopes to be able to be the next rising star of Hardcore band. Cheers!!
